As part of the company’s interest and strive to respond to the customer’s demands and to impose its position in international markets between steel companies the company has adopted a system of international standards for quality (iso 9001/2000) and formed a council for quality assurance of the effectiveness of its application and in order to achieve desired goals, the Libyan Iron and Steel Company has acquired the 12th Europe Award of quality in 1998, and obtained the international quality certificate (iso 9001/2000 ) on 25/03/2002.
