15 On 9 November 2021, the Arab-BelgianLuxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in close collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Brussels organized a high-level webinar called: “Saudi Arabia, A Land of Infinite Opportunities and Bold Initiatives”. Thi s webinar represented a unique opportunity for participants to discover the Saudi market and its long-term vision as a strategic partner in the Arab World. It enabled more than 130 participants - be they companies, associations, or businessmen – to get to know more about key investment sectors and opportunities in the Kingdom. But why focus on Saudi Arabia? As a member of the G20, the Gul f Cooperation Council, and countless of other important Union’s, Saudi Arabia is undeniably a partner to be cherished. Furthermore, is the Saudi Kingdom one of the fastest growing economies in the world, therefore offering infinite business opportunities and many bold initiatives for investors. By the end of this year, Saudi Arabia’s GDP is expected to reach 790 billion USD and its economy is expected to expand 7.7 per cent now the coronavirus-related uncertainty that marked the last two years recedes. Even more impressive is the oil sector’s GDP, which is projected to expand 15.5 per cent a year starting from 2022. However, its position among the world’s largest exporters of oil and gas has tended to overshadow the Kingdom’s increasingly diversified economic sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, energy, petrochemicals, logistics, and education to only name a few of them.
