The Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to the meeting “Offshoring sectors in Tunisia – Invest in Tunisia”, organized by the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA), in collaboration with Brussels Invest & Export (BI&E), AWEX, and FIT, which is to be held in the premises of Brussels Invest & Export (Chaussée de Charleroi 112, 1060 Brussels), from 10.00 am onwards.

Indeed, the digital economy represents 7% of Tunisian GDP, and is one of the fastest-growing sectors abroad. Today, thanks to its solid ecosystem, Tunisia represents more than 2000 companies and 34000 jobs in various sectors of the digital economy. Each year, 6000 young people from 200 programs graduate in digital fields.

The seminar, which will be held in the morning, will be a good opportunity for participants to get to know more on the investment context in Tunisia and Belgium, and the numerous opportunities offered by the ICT sector in Tunisia.

As regards the Tunisian side, the following speakers are on the programme:

  • Welcome word by HEM Tahar CHERIF, Ambassador of Tunisia
  • Mr. Khalil LAABIDI, President of the Tunisian Authority for Investment, " la Tunisie à l'horizon 2020, un hub pour l'Afrique"
  • Mr. Zied BRAHAM, Chief of ITO service at FIPA, " potentiel de partenariat du secteur digital en Tunisie"

Furthermore, the B2B meetings following this seminar will be a good opportunity to meet Tunisian companies of the ICT sector, and to exchange best practices.

To bring the day to an end, HEM Tahar CHERIF will hold a cocktail reception at the Tunisian Embassy as from 7.00 pm!

Don't miss out this opportunity and quickly register for this seminar
