40th GITEX Technology Week
The Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX), the largest ICT event in the Middle East, took place in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, at the Dubai World Trade Center from 6 to 10 December.
A Belgian Pavilion was inaugurated by H.E. Peter Claes, Ambassador of Belgium in the UAE, and held in a blended format. Members of the Arab-Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce participate both virtually and physically despite the challenging protocols implemented to ensure safety.
“I enjoyed listening to executives from leading tech companies, who discussed future technologies - such as AI, robotics and blockchain. Dubai continues to solidify its position as a global hub for innovation, entrepreneurship and collaboration in the technology industry. Through this, we aim to revitalize networking, partnership building and knowledge sharing in the tech sector. » H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed.
This event gathering more than 1200 companies from all over the world, but also government agencies, was a great opportunity for Belgian and Luxembourg businesses to meet and exchange with counterparts and partners from the Middle East, and vice versa.
