HRD Antwerp was set up in 1973 as the Hoge Raad for Diamant (HRD) or Diamond High Council, at the initiative of the Belgian government and diamond industry representatives.

Our in-house expert research department specializes in detection of natural, treated and lab grown diamonds in loose and mounted conditions.

Headquarter in Antwerp – City of Diamonds, we have our company owned laboratories in Antwerp, Dubai and Mumbai.

Today, we carry on the legacy of Belgium’s Diamond Heritage through our grading and education services.
