The ABLCC is pleased to announce that the Walloon Agency for Export and Foreign Investment - AWEX, in collaboration with Flanders Investment & Trade - FIT are organizing their upcoming Plurisectoral Economic and Commercial Mission to the Kingdom of Morocco from Sunday 13 to Thursday 17 October 2024, with the full support of the Embassy of Belgium in Rabat. 

The cities on the agenda are Casablanca and Rabat.
This will be a plurisectoral mission, focusing primarily on the sectors of water and energy.

Regarding water, the focus will be on its management, treatment and distribution in the agri-food and tourism sectors. In view of Morocco's current water stress, the authorities have implemented a restrictive optimization policy for water management.

Renewable energies and waste management will also be at the heart of this mission. The Moroccan authorities aim to establish a diversified, low-carbon energy mix in view of the short-term challenges the country faces, namely meeting their climate commitments and the 2030 World Cup.

This mission represents a great opportunity to: 

• Learn more about the Moroccan market and its opportunities;
• Meet local companies (B2B), visit Ministry(s) (B2G), public AO and identify business opportunities;
• Establish privileged contacts and meet our compatriots;
• Benefit from group booking and logistical support.

The mission will therefore provide an insight into the potential of the Moroccan economy, by organizing meetings and visits with the most active local stakeholders, giving the chance to meet the Belgian, local and international business communities.
