The ABLCC is pleased to inform you that the second edition of the Arab International Small and Medium Enterprises Conference & Expo (SMEX Algeria) will be held between May 14-16, 2025, at the Exhibition Center "Palais des Expositions Pins Maritimes" in Algiers, under the theme "Smart Manufacturing: Enhancing Competitiveness and Innovation."

The conference was initiated by the League of Arab States and assigned to the Arab Union for Industrial Exports Development (AUIED) in partnership with the Algerian Fairs and Exportation Company (SAFEX). It is organized under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Algeria and the League of Arab States. The conference is also held in cooperation with the Algerian Ministry of Trade, the Algerian Ministry of Small and Medium Industries, the Algerian Agency for the Development of SMEs, the Algerian Stock Exchange for Handling and Partnership, the Federation of Algerian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and relevant Arab and international bodies and organizations.

The objective of this conference is to promote smart manufacturing, support SMEs, encourage sustainable development and provide financing opportunities. It is intended as a platform to exchange information and expertise.

The conference will be followed by an exhibition showcasing the products of Arab SMEs, highlighting the integration of artificial intelligence, information and communications technology, machine learning, and advanced technologies to improve manufacturing processes, aiming at supporting the competitiveness of Arab products and services, linking them to global value chains, and helping them enter new markets.

The event will be attended by entrepreneurs and owners of SMEs, economic and investment experts, policymakers from around the world, as well as Arab, African, and international trade development agencies. The goal is to create connections between a select group of Algerian and Arab entrepreneurs from key sectors and their international counterparts.
