Let's join forces to provide humanitarian aid for Syrian Earthquake Victims
The Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ABLCC) present their condolences to earthquake-hit Syria and Turkey people.
Thousands of people died and many more were injured or left homeless. Some hospitals can't cope with the influx of injured people. Rescue teams and humanitarian organizations are mobilizing to provide assistance, equipment and aid to all those that have been affected by this disaster.
The ABLCC expresses their full support to Caritas International and more particularly Caritas Syria who has opened shelters in Aleppo, Hama and Latakia and is providing care and food to the most vulnerable. "In this phase, our main objective is to save lives and ensure the survival of the population" says Sébastien Dechamps, humanitarian coordinator at Caritas International, which has been supporting Caritas Syria for a very long time.
The Caritas network's local presence in Syria has allowed it to respond immediately to the aftermath of the earthquake. It just needs financial support.
