Flanders International Business Convention
The Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ABLCC) was honored to participate in the Flanders International Business Convention on November 5th and 6th! This major event brought together international leaders to explore new opportunities for trade and investment, underscoring the strength of cross-border collaboration.
As part of the convention, ABLCC hosted a seminar titled “UAE: Leadership, Innovation, and Sustainability.” The session began with welcome remarks from Mr. Qaisar HIJAZIN, Secretary General of ABLCC, who highlighted the UAE's dynamic economy and the strong, stable economic ties between Belgium, the UAE, and Flanders in particular.
We were privileged to welcome H.E. Mr. Mohamed AL SAHLAWY, Ambassador of the UAE to Belgium, who shared insights into the country’s economic development and its highly skilled workforce. Mrs. Joyce CHOUKRI, Head of Sales for Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), presented RAKEZ’s impactful sustainability initiatives.
This insightful seminar explored the UAE’s forward-thinking strategies for economic growth, sustainability, and innovation, sparking meaningful discussions on the future of sustainable development.
We look forward to building on the ideas shared and fostering deeper collaboration between Belgium and Arab countries. We would like to extend our thanks to FIT for organizing this convention and inviting us! Thank you to everyone who joined and helped make this event a success!
