The Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to the meeting “Offshoring sectors in Tunisia – Invest in Tunisia”, organized by the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA), in collaboration with Brussels Invest & Export (BI&E), AWEX, and FIT, which is to be held in the premises of Brussels Invest & Export (Chaussée de Charleroi 112, 1060 Brussels), from 10.00 am onwards.

Indeed, the digital economy represents 7% of Tunisian GDP, and is one of the fastest-growing sectors abroad. Today, thanks to its solid ecosystem, Tunisia represents more than 2000 companies and 34000 jobs in various sectors of the digital economy. Each year, 6000 young people from 200 programs graduate in digital fields.

The seminar, which will be held in the morning, will be a good opportunity for participants to get to know more on the investment context in Tunisia and Belgium, and the numerous opportunities offered by the ICT sector in Tunisia.

As regards the Tunisian side, the following speakers are on the programme:

  • Welcome word by HEM Tahar CHERIF, Ambassador of Tunisia
  • Mr. Khalil LAABIDI, President of the Tunisian Authority for Investment, " la Tunisie à l'horizon 2020, un hub pour l'Afrique"
  • Mr. Zied BRAHAM, Chief of ITO service at FIPA, " potentiel de partenariat du secteur digital en Tunisie"

Furthermore, the B2B meetings following this seminar will be a good opportunity to meet Tunisian companies of the ICT sector, and to exchange best practices.

To bring the day to an end, HEM Tahar CHERIF will hold a cocktail reception at the Tunisian Embassy as from 7.00 pm!

Multisectoral Economic Mission to Algeria

The Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ABLCC), with the support of Belgian Foreign Trade Agencies (Walloon Export & Foreign Investment Agency, Brussels Invest & Export, Flanders Investment & Trade) and the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI), is organizing a Multisectoral Economic Mission to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria from 27 November to 01 December 2017.

This Mission will be presided over by H.E. Mrs Cecile Jodoigne, State Secretary of the Brussels-Capital Region, in charge of Foreign Trade, which will be a significant added value to open-up unexpected doors!

La Chambre de Commerce Belgique-Luxembourg-Pays arabes à le plaisir de contribuer au lancement de l'Import & Export club « Pays du Golfe », organisé par la Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie du Brabant Wallon (CCIBW) à partir du 12 mai 2017.

Encadrés par des experts chevronnés, les 5 réunions de ce club ont pour objectif de vous permettre d’anticiper les contraintes liées à l’importation et à l’exportation dans cette zone géographique spécifique et d’y répondre efficacement.

  • Réunion 5 : Rencontres diplomatiques avec les conseillers économiques et commerciaux des Ambassades des pays du Golfe – Vendredi 24 novembre de 8h30 à 12h00 + lunc
